What is New World Enamel made of?
New World Enamel products are vitreous (glass) enamel coated on a steel core. Double-coated for durability. The glass coating is non-reactive, food-safe, and easy to clean. The steel core makes the plates oven safe but means they cannot be microwaved.
Is the Rice Plate oven safe?
Yes — oven safe up to 200 °C. Suitable for baking, roasting, and reheating in a conventional oven. Avoid sudden temperature changes (cold plate into hot oven, or vice versa) to prevent thermal shock cracking the enamel.
Is the Rice Plate dishwasher safe?
Yes — dishwasher safe. Hand washing with a soft sponge preserves the enamel finish longer.
