How do I clean the cast iron pieces after a camping trip?
Wipe out food with a paper towel or wooden scraper while still warm. If needed, rinse with hot water — no soap — and a stiff brush. Dry over heat (over the fire or on a stove) immediately to prevent rust. Rub a thin layer of cooking oil on all surfaces, then return to the wooden box for storage. Never put cast iron pieces away wet.
Can I use these on a normal kitchen stove?
