TL;DR
If you want one marble pan in classic Tiger black, the NF24 is the answer — 24cm, single piece, R249. If you want size choice (20/24/28cm) and the option of a glass lid for everyday family cooking, the Greenis Marble Frypan range (R229–R359) gives you four configurations from the same Thaba Nchu factory.
Same Granistone-grade marble coating. Same PFOA-free non-stick. Two different shopping decisions.

Big5 Greenis — Direct From the Factory
Greenis is the Big5 Cookware Factory Shop's in-house marble line — same Granistone coating tech as the Tiger range, sold without a brand premium. Made in South Africa at the Thaba Nchu factory since 1977. PFOA-free, dishwasher-friendly, ready for daily use. Four configurations let you match the pan to the pot you already own.
Which marble pan is right for you?
Both pans come off the same production lines in Thaba Nchu. The wedge is configuration, not quality:
Is the Tiger NF24 the same coating as the NS15 / NS8?
Yes — same marble-coated PFOA-free non-stick technology used across the Tiger Non-Stick range. The NF24 is the single-pan entry point; NS8 (8-piece) and NS15 (15-piece) are full sets.
Can the Greenis 28cm version be bought with a lid?
No — the 28cm variant ships without a lid. Lid versions are only stocked for 20cm and 24cm. For larger covered cooking, pair the 28cm with a generic glass lid (28cm fits most stock-pot lids).
Are both pans dishwasher safe?
Yes, both are dishwasher-safe. Hand-washing extends coating life — soft sponge with mild detergent, no scouring pads. Replace at first visible flake.
What's the maximum cooking temperature?
Both pans are safe up to ~230°C for normal home cooking. Never preheat empty for more than 30 seconds, and avoid dry overheating above 260°C (the coating breaks down past that point).
Can I use metal utensils?
No — use wood, silicone, or BPA-free nylon. Metal scoring is the #1 reason marble coatings fail early.
